Sitting at my bench today.. I was thinking about connection.
How I sit in my little bubble on the edge of a wood in Dorset UK and I chat (via my gadget) to folk all over the world who share their stories with me.
How we make these amazing connections with people we may or may not ever meet and their worlds touch ours just for a moment or two.
And how whilst I sit there engrossed in my work, I can hear the birds singing their hearts out and the trees rustling in the breeze.. the scurry of mice in the hedge and the occasional deer munching grass nearby.
And the cats… and my friends … and, of course AL 🖤✨
And now YOU … all of you.
It just brought it home to me that we are all part of a network who need each other to survive .. to thrive.
So I made a little rarity to encapsulate my day.
The turquoise oceans which separate us but also bring us together…
The moon who watches over all of us… we are ALL gazing at the same moon wherever we are…
The flowers and the plants who carry on blooming each day regardless of my dramas..
The birds.. singing their happy songs, warning songs, feed me songs and cross (I’m looking at you Mrs Wren!!) songs all day…
The stars in the sky (because… well… stars!)✨
And the oak leaf which, to me, represents the wisdom and the underground networks that allow the trees to talk to each other …
Connection is everywhere…
MAGIC is everywhere.
‘An Talamh’ is solid sterling silver, turquoise and moonstone with a little gold moon on the back of the setting. She is strung on a 20” oxidised chain.
